This tournament brings together elite competitors and rising talents from across the region, competing under the intensity of Combat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rules—where positioning, submissions, and well-timed strikes define victory.
The event features Gi and No-Gi divisions, structured by age, weight, and skill level to ensure fair competition. Youth divisions (Kids & Teens) will follow traditional BJJ rules with no striking, while Adult divisions will compete under Combat BJJ rules, allowing controlled open-hand strikes in permitted scenarios.

In addition to standard divisions, the Mid-Atlantic Combat BJJ Championship will introduce a Collegiate Division, allowing students to compete under their school’s name and bring home a championship trophy for their institution. With over 150+ MMA/BJJ academies in New Jersey alone—not including schools in Philadelphia and NYC—this division will showcase some of the best collegiate grapplers in the region, providing them with a platform to prove their skills and represent their school with pride.
